Courses Offered

Initially in the year 1998, RCOE emerged with four years Bachelor of Engineering Degree course in the fundamental branch of Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and with an intake of 60 each. To meet the growing demand of skilled craftsman for the developing nation, our dynamic leader, Dr. A. H. Rizvi took all pains in upgrading the College. Presently four year BE programmes available in five major disciplines are:

Allotment of Seats

Seats available for Admission are 50% for Govt. Quota and 50% for Muslim Minority Quota including Management Quota. The institution is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra State, Government of Maharashtra and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Academic Programme

The College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The engineering programme is a four-year programme spilt over eight semesters.

The University of Mumbai conducts the examinations twice a year besides the valuation. As it is in semesters, the academic programme commences in the month of July and ends up in November, after which examinations are conducted in the month of December. The next semester commences from January to June, winding up with examinations.

The second, seventh and eight semester examinations are exclusively evaluated by the University, through central assessment scheme, involving the faculty of all the colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai. In case of first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth semesters, the paper setters, examiners, moderators are appointed by the University and the evaluation is done in the college under the supervision and guidelines set by the University.
